About the Role

Are you an experienced Remote Area Nurse looking for your next adventure? Medacs Healthcare is seeking passionate RANs for contract opportunities across the Northern Territory, working within Aboriginal Medical Services and remote community health settings.

Make a meaningful impact while delivering high-quality healthcare in some of Australia's most culturally rich and breathtaking locations. With opportunities across the Top End, Central Australia, and remote Aboriginal communities, no two contracts are the same.

We offer flexible locum contracts ranging from 6-12 weeks (with ongoing opportunities), with a variety of start dates available throughout the year and some stunning island locations.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years' Registered Nurse experience in Australia, including emergency care and on-call experience
• Manual driver's licence
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Immunisation Provider certification (or working towards authorisation)

Current or In-Progress Certifications

• Remote Emergency Care (REC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
• Pharmacotherapeutics
• Postgraduate qualifications in remote or primary healthcare (highly regarded)
