About the Role

Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for rural and remote healthcare? Medacs Healthcare is seeking dedicated Remote Area Nurses for contract opportunities across multiple Aboriginal Medical Services and remote communities throughout South Australia.

Working in some of Australia's most unique and rewarding locations, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare while making a genuine difference in communities that need it most.

We offer flexible 6-12 week locum contracts (with ongoing opportunities), with a variety of start dates available throughout the year.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years' Registered Nurse experience in Australia, including emergency care and on-call experience
• Manual driver's licence
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Immunisation Provider certification

Current or In-Progress Certifications

• Remote Emergency Care (REC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
• Pharmacotherapeutics
• Postgraduate qualifications (highly regarded)
