About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an exciting contract opportunity in Bamaga, Far North Queensland. This dual-skilled role will see you working across both the Emergency Department and General Ward, providing high-quality patient care in a unique and rewarding remote healthcare setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses who enjoy a varied caseload, working autonomously, and making a real impact within regional and remote communities.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute care setting
• Recent Emergency Department and General Ward experience
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Triage qualification
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
