About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a background in aged care for contract opportunities across Australia.

Depending on the placement, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering safe, person-centred and high-quality nursing care within regional hospitals, Multipurpose Services (MPS) and Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF)
• Applying your clinical skills and aged care experience in fast-paced and resource-limited environments
• Working confidently and independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Supporting residents and patients with medication management, clinical assessments, care planning and ongoing monitoring
• Building experience across aged care, acute care, community health and rural and remote nursing environments
• Adapting to the clinical and cultural needs of regional, remote and Indigenous communities
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and complying with relevant organisational policies and professional standards

Position Requirements

To be considered for our Registered Nurse contracts, you will require:

• Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• A minimum of two years' recent experience within an aged care setting
• Strong clinical assessment, medication management and care-planning skills
• The ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical environments
• Well-developed communication, documentation and time-management skills
• A current National Police Check
• Relevant Working with Vulnerable People or state-based clearances, where required
• Evidence of mandatory vaccinations and compliance documentation relevant to the placement
• Full Australian working rights

Additional experience in rural and remote nursing, community health, emergency care, Multipurpose Services or Indigenous health settings will be highly regarded.
