Are you an experienced Clinical Coder looking for a flexible, on site locum role in regional Australia? We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team, offering competitive rates and the opportunity to work in diverse healthcare settings.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5+ years of on site clinical coding experience, ideally with complex casemix.

Requirements:

• Clinical Coding qualifications from HIMAA or equivalent, or a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Information Management).
• Up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10-AM 12th Edition.
• Strong expertise in medical terminology and medical science.
• Excellent analytical and abstracting skills.
• Active membership with HIMAA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign accurate and timely clinical codes using ICD-10-AM, 12th Edition.
• Manage complex casemix coding with precision and efficiency.
• Foster strong relationships with clinicians to improve coding accuracy and documentation processes.
