About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Community Health Nurses and Remote Area Nurses for exciting contract opportunities across the Kimberley WA. These roles offer the chance to support remote and rural communities where your skills can make a genuine difference, while experiencing the unique landscapes, close-knit communities, and rich cultural heritage of outback Australia. 🌿

You'll deliver a broad range of primary and community health services, promote preventative health initiatives, and support improved health outcomes for individuals and families in remote settings. With a high level of autonomy and variety in your day-to-day practice, these positions are ideal for nurses looking to broaden their experience and embrace a rewarding challenge.

We offer 6-12 week locum contracts with start dates available now through to December and flexibility to suit your professional and personal commitments.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
  * Experience in community health and remote primary healthcare
  * Acute care and/or emergency response experience
  * First on‑call capability
  * Manual driver's licence

Required Certifications:
* Immunisation Provider Certificate (updated within 12 months) 💉
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Triage

Highly Desirable:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Health
* 4WD experience/certificate
