Medacs Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a rewarding contract opportunity in Biloela, Central Queensland.

This role is suited to a skilled ED nurse who is confident working in a rural setting and capable of managing a diverse range of emergency presentations. About the Role

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy regional healthcare setting. You will be required to work autonomously when needed, demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Triage competency
• Resuscitation experience
• IV cannulation competency
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Rural and remote nursing experience
