We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a rewarding short-term contract in a remote Northern Territory hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking to make a meaningful impact in a rural and remote community.
About the Role
As an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency nursing care within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will be confident managing a diverse range of presentations and possess strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, applicants must demonstrate:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' recent acute Emergency Department experience
- Demonstrated competency in:
- Resuscitation
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)
- Triage
- Ability to work independently in a rural/remote setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Mandatory Compliance
Successful applicants will be required to provide all relevant compliance documentation, including:
- Current AHPRA registration
- National Police Check
- Working With Children clearance (where applicable)
- Immunisation records
- Mandatory clinical competencies and training certifications
