Medacs Healthcare is currently seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for exciting contract opportunities in Dysart, Queensland.

These roles are ideal for confident ED nurses with strong rural and remote experience who can work independently, lead teams when required, and deliver high-quality emergency care in a regional setting.

About the Role

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective emergency care across a broad range of presentations. The successful candidates will possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills, demonstrate leadership capabilities, and be comfortable working within a rural healthcare environment.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration
• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ETEK competency
• ieMR experience
• Triage competency
• Resuscitation experience
• Minimum 2 years ED experience
• Rural and remote nursing experience
• Ability to lead and coordinate teams within the clinical environment
